Dear friend,

We are almost through the winter and looking with great anticipation toward spring! But this winter did bring some highlights, including our Open House!

If you were able to come out, you know we had a fantastic afternoon showcasing Birthright and celebrating with the community. We had mom-to-be photos for expectant mothers, live music from Grace Surmion, tasty deserts, and tons of giveaways. Our volunteers gave tours and shared their heart for moms and babies. It was a wonderful time. Here are a few highlights of the event, and you can head over to our website to view the full gallery of photos taken by Julian Mancha of Mancha Photography. Thanks, Julian!
We are so grateful for all our volunteers and supporters who made this event possible. We're especially thankful for our event underwriters, Mary Koym and the J.C. Ferguson Foundation, Inc., the Scott Family Partnership, Stonegate Fellowship, and Jacob & Kali Baccus. These faithful and generous supporters made it possible to highlight the work and ministry of Birthright for the community.

We are also blown away by the donations and discounts from individuals and businesses whose generosity made the event a success. From the delicious desserts from Marquette’s Cake Studio, to all the great giveaway items and fun gifts for moms. In addition to those already mentioned, thanks to Dr. Charles Lively, Lively Wellness and AestheticsSupermouthLa Diva BeautyBlack Tulip Design FloristThrive and Revive Wellness SpaN-Tune Music OdessaFlying CowAmy Cravey, and Debbie Scott.

Wow! I'm amazed by all the people who worked and gave to make our open house such an amazing event. I pray that the ministry of Birthright would be able to reach even more people as word of our work is spread. Thank you for being a part of spreading that message.

Events like the open house really highlight the fact that Birthright is a community effort. "Many hands make light work," and the many hands of our volunteers and the support of individuals, churches, and institutions work together to fulfill the ministry of Birthright. There are many ways you can add your efforts to the work of Birthright.

Our most important and ongoing need is prayer support. We know that our Father founded this ministry and sustains it. We have created a weekly prayer focus that you can download and print out. It contains different prayer requests for each day of the week.  Download that here.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Birthright. Peer counselors, administrative help, organizers, event planners and executors and countless others work to fill the many needs the ministry requires. Learn more about how you can use your time and talent at Birthright here.

And of course, Birthright depends  completely on private donations. We do not accept government grants or funds from programs that might limit or dictate how we can minister to mothers and their children. Because of the faithfulness of individuals, businesses, churches, and other ministries, we can continue to serve without constraints. If you feel led to donate, you can do that here.

Thank you again for your continued interest in and support of Birthright. Because you stand with us, we have been able to offer hope, friendship, and life to mothers and their children since 1984. You are indispensable!

God bless you,

Mary Holley
